UNFORTUNATELY, THESE ALBUMS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

Home Rule's music is anything but nostalgia for the past and is influenced by folk and rock as much as anything. The strong underlying sense of the traditional music is there, to be sure. The dance rhythms, the lift, the lilt - but in feel and content is energy and drive; the music is entirely contemporary.
AUSTRALIAN ACCENT
Larrikin Records

Home rule’s first album was on vinyl and cassette and released on Larrikin Records in time for the 1988 Bicentenary celebrations. That year saw the band play many gigs and festivals in Eastern Australia including a tour around Melbourne, the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Town Hall and a number of ABC radio programs. Some of the tracks were played live on the ‘That’s Australia’’ an ABC TV program hosted by John Derrum.
